Video Library: Ashley on camera, deadlines explained

Short, straight explainers, most filmed in one take, some on a mountain. The same videos embed across the site: the intro on the homepage, topic explainers on their matching pages, clips on social.

One take, no autocueMost under 3 minutesFilmed on location

These bridging finance videos are the shortest route to an answer we can offer. Each one takes a single question, gives it two or three minutes, and stops. No intro music, no whiteboard, no stock footage of someone shaking hands in an office.

Being straight with you

The library below is the shoot list, not the archive. Nothing here has been filmed yet. Every video is planned, scripted in bullet points and matched to a page that already answers the same question in writing, which is linked under each one. As each video lands, the panel below becomes a player.

The intro

"I'm Ashley, here's how this works"Not yet filmed · planned at about 60 seconds · the homepage welcome video. Who you deal with, what happens when you enquire, and why fast property finance is all we do.

The explainers

Each of these embeds on its matching page once filmed. Until then, the page itself has the answer in full.

Social clips

Short vertical clips cut from the same recordings end up on our socials, all linked on the follow us page. Site visitors find the socials, social followers find the site. Every video is filmed and recorded at the same time, so the audio versions live on the podcast.

Answers you can have right now

A video is a good way to understand something. It's a slow way to get a number. If you want the answer today rather than when the weather is right for filming:

Your questions

When will the bridging finance videos be available?

They're filmed on location between deals rather than in a studio, so they arrive as the diary and the weather allow. This page updates as each one lands, and every video has a written page covering the same ground in the meantime.

How long is each video?

Most are two to three minutes, the shortest around ninety seconds. The aim is one question answered properly, then stop. Anything that needs longer becomes a podcast episode or a guide instead.

Why film them outdoors?

Partly because Ashley would rather be on a hill than in front of a ring light, and partly because it looks like a real person rather than a corporate video. The trade-off is that filming depends on the weather.

Can I watch these somewhere other than the site?

Yes. They go to YouTube in full, with short vertical clips on social. All the channels are linked on the follow us page.

Camera-shy? Ashley isn't.

If a video didn't answer it, the phone will.
